We're your just average American family of five.
Maybe it's not that simple, our RV has been referred to as “Mary Poppins’ bag” and we've heard "free-spirited" or "just plain nuts" to describe our lifestyle. But, it's the norm for our family. Our oldest child has moved 10 times in her 13 years on this planet, we’ve done the full-time RV thing, we’re a handful of visits away from completing the 50 States Challenge, and we recently decided to reach for our longtime dream of building a sustainable family ranch.
It might be oversimplified, but it's safe to say we’re dreamers doers.
From start-up opportunities to an unhinged desire to experience the world, adventure has always called to us from deep within our bones. This life isn't for everyone, but if you're here, we're guessing it's calling for you, too.
Our lifestyle combines a sense of nomadic wanderlust, a love of big animals, and a burning desire to create healthy minds and bodies. Our sanity relies on commitment, planning, and prayer. We're consistently asked how families can balance their "responsible" lives with their "adventure" lives, so we created a site dedicated to sharing our passions.
Overall, we've found the more we explore and learn together, the closer we become as a family, as partners, and as friends. We hope that by sharing our experiences, we can spark conversations to challenge society's expectations of us and encourage other dreamers to blaze their own trails. Above all else, we hope we can inspire others to draw closer to the ones they love through exploration and passion-filled living.
